What's on in Lennox?

Lennox Head is such a popular destination for surfers with famous surf breaks at Boulders and Lennox Point. Visit the headland for breathtaking views or head to Pat Morton Lookout for whale and dolphin spotting. Try hang-gliding over the beautiful coastline. Beautiful bush tracks and pathways from the town up to lookout. Explore Lake Ainsworth, hidden between the white sands of Lennox's Seven Mile Beach and the wildlife-rich coastal heathland. The fresh waters of the Lake are stained 'billy-tea' dark by the tea trees that fringe its banks. Swim in its deep red waters, skim its shimmering surface on a sailboard or go canoeing. The lake's shores are perfect for camping or enjoying the monthly Lennox Head markets. Sip on a coffee that rivals ones in Byron Bay. Taste divine foods from one of our many restaurants and cafe choices. Best of all there is always parking.

August sets the stage for the Annual Lennox Longboard Classic. This laidback, fun and down to earth weekend event takes place at Lennox Head and covers 10 different gendered and aged long-boarding divisions.

Lennox Head was declared a National Surfing Reserve in February 2007, the third site in Australia to be recognised for its significance to recreational surfing and the largest in Australia. It runs 7.2 kms from the Surf Club south to Flat Rock.
Endlessly photographed, filmed and fawned over, the right-hand point-break at Lennox is one of Australia's most famous waves. The Lennox Head point break is beautiful to look at but powerful- it's not the place for beginners. 7 mile beach, outside the Lennox Surf Club is a great place to learn to surf.
